pH Scale

The pH scale measure how much H+ a solution has.

So we measure how much H+ is the solution

The pH scale measures the concentration of H+

pH = -log10 [H+]

**a low pH means a lot of acid: high pH means very little acid**

Acids are 1-6 on the pH scale. Bases are 8 and over on the pH scale. Neutral is 7 on the scale.
